The Fishing
Every afternoon the fishing coordinator has free casting lessons. The lesson is very helpful for all.
The savannah flat and Long Caye are some the best in the world to catch tarpon year 'round. Migratory fish are also caught around Ambergris.
Everyday the El Pescador guides work extremely hard to get clients into permit.
The bigger permit tend to run in small schools or solo.
Come back with snapper or baracuda and the kitchen staff will prepare the best fish sticks you've ever had.
These ladies landed 18 permit in one day! Spinning gear is always an option.
Baby tarpon can be found along the miles of mangroves and lagoons in Northern Belize.
Belize has adopted catch and release on bonefish, tarpon, and permit.
When the weather cooperates, permit around El Pescador are found in large schools.
The Lodge

The bar opens at two and is the place to have an appetizer and swap stories from the day on the water. The bar is stocked and rum punch is the specialty. Beliken beer and local liquor is included in the package.
The Food
Lunch is wonderful and made to order. The night before clients check off the items from an extensive list what they would like.
The food is awesome, and the kitchen staff has a bad habit of overfeeding guests. You can buy their cookbook on Amazon!
Breakfast is served to order. The chef will prepare just about anything you want with the freshest ingredients.

If you decide not to fish everyday, there's plenty to do or just relax by the pool in the shade. Lunch at the lodge is delicious.

The staff make the guests feel welcome and very comfortable. Dessert is always a crowd pleaser.
The Travel
Belize is a small country tucked below the Mexican Yucatan with a population of around 300,000
Formally British Hondours, Belize gained its independence in 1980. English is the official language, and the guides speak excellent English and Spanish.
Non-stop direct flights from Dallas, Denver, Houston, Miami, Charlotte, and Los Angles serve the International airport, make traveling to Belize a breeze.
After clearing customs, you board Tropic Air for 15 minute flight from the International airport to Ambergris Caye. The flight is stunning and included in the package.
This is where a representative of El Pescador will meet you and transfer you to the lodge.
El Pescador owns a fleet of boats for fishing, as well as transporting clients to and from the San Pedro airport. Ground taxi is also used.
